In addition to Zazzle's Content Guidelines, we ask that you please abide by these additional guidelines for our special Content Partners: 

Customization of Officially Licensed Merchandise

Zazzle is proud to be in association with a myriad of content partners. With the power of Zazzle, you have the ability of online customization for your favorite movie characters, music artists and branded products. In addition to our Acceptable Content Guidelines, we ask you to follow a few more rules. Here you will find the guidelines of what is generally prohibited for printing on officially licensed merchandise:

  • No text or images that may be considered offensive or be controversial to others in any manner
  • No sexual connotations
  • No images or references of illegal drugs
  • No names of politicians or political statements
  • No business advertising
  • No religious references, including church names and other places of worship
  • No company names, school names, abbreviations of school names, or sports teams, trademarks, slogans or tag lines
  • No events other than those with a family name incorporated ("Johnson Family Reunion")
  • No text that may violate the integrity and reputation of the brands represented or Zazzle.com

Disney Customization Guidelines

Welcome to the power of online customization! Using Zazzle technology, you can personalize products with all of your favorite characters!  Below you will find the guidelines of what is prohibited for printing on the product you selected. Note: any orders placed with customized text or images may be cancelled at our sole discretion. Please follow the guidelines below:

  • No text or images that may be considered offensive or be controversial to others in any manner
  • No sexual connotations
  • No images or references of illegal drugs
  • No names of politicians or political statements
  • No business advertising
  • No religious references, including church names and other places of worship
  • No company names, school names, abbreviations of school names, or sports teams, trademarks, slogans, or tag lines

  • No use of Disney Parks and Resorts, including but not limited to Disneyland, Disney World, Epcot Center, etc. outside of the Disney Parks category.

The Fine Print:

  1. We reserve the right to decline to use your uploaded photo or text at our sole discretion.
  2. Prior to uploading a photo or text, you must read carefully and make certain you understand our Terms of Use.
  3. You may not upload a photo or text that violates the Terms of Use. For example --
    • You may NOT upload a pornographic or obscene photo or text alluding to any pornography or obscenities.
    • You may NOT impersonate another person.
    • You must own all rights (including copyright) in the photo and text you upload or have the written permission of ALL persons who own (a) the rights to upload the photo or text and (b) the rights to authorize the uses permitted in the Terms of Use (the "Rights"). If someone other than you has taken the photo or appears in it or has created the text, you must obtain such permission from those persons.
    • DO NOT UPLOAD ANY PHOTO OR TEXT FOR WHICH YOU DON'T OWN THE RIGHTS OR HAVE NOT OBTAINED THE NECESSARY PERMISSION FROM THE OWNER OR OWNERS OF THOSE RIGHTS. IF YOU UPLOAD ANY PHOTO OR TEXT THAT VIOLATES OUR TERMS OF USE, YOUR ACCOUNT MAY BE TERMINATED.

  • The term “Cardinal” should be used only as a singular term to reference color.  Plural use of the term “Cardinal” is prohibited”
  • No use of the term “SU” to reference Stanford
  • The terms “Stanford”, “Fear the Tree”, “Cardinal”, and “The Farm” must include a trademark designation, ®.
  • Unregistered activities and unofficial Stanford events are prohibited.
  • All athletic related designs for both varsity and club sports should only use the “Block S” trademark:
  • No reference to Native Americans as a mascot or otherwise.

  • All designs that include registered student or alumni groups will require approval from Stanford.

  • Out of respect to the military, the terms “war” and “battle” are prohibited.
  • Graduation announcements are not permitted.

  • Club Sports teams are not permitted to use the primary athletic marks at this time.
  • Unregistered activities and unofficial University of Alabama events are prohibited.

Club Pitt Logo Guidelines for Certified Student Organizations

  1. With the exception of the approved CLUB PITT logo, certified student organizations shall NOT use any University trademarks, trade names, service marks and/or logos. The CLUB PITT logos, as seen on the Zazzle Pitt store, are the only University authorized logos for use by all certified student organizations including club sports at the University. If you choose to use a logo which incorporates the University trademarks, trademarks, trade names, or service marks, the approved CLUB PITT logos attached are the only logo designs approved for student organization use, effective November 1, 2012.
  2. You must use the logo in its entirety with the same font and proportions reflected on the Zazzle Pitt store.
  3. Certified student organizations are not required to purchase new merchandise for the sole purpose of complying with the Club Pitt Logo Guidelines. However, certified student organizations desiring to use a logo with the University trademarks must use the CLUB PITT logo on any merchandise orders beginning November 1, 2012, with the exception that logo designs approved by the University before November 1, 2012 may be used through January 1, 2014, and orders may be placed to equip student organizations during this transition period.
  4. Certified student organizations may use PANTHER or PITT as part of their club or student organization names only if the words PANTHER or PITT appear in the same type and size of font as the rest of the name, with no use of highlighting, bold or italics to provide emphasis to the words PANTHER or PITT Certified student organizations may use the geographic indicator and word PITTSBURGH in connection with a club or organization name so long as such use does not infringe upon the trademark or other rights of a third party.
  5. Certified student organizations may use a self-designed logo which does not incorporate any University trademark, trade name, service mark, or logo so long as such use does not infringe upon the trademarks, copyrights, or other rights of a third party.
  6.
